Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms govern the use of the ScopeCred platform operated by BEARER · Rajendran, Bhirannavan Rajendran, Neufeldstrasse 116, 3012 Bern, Switzerland ("Provider"). By registering or using the platform you accept these Terms.
2. Beta notice
ScopeCred is in closed beta / pre-launch. No production funds are custodied or transferred at this time. All escrow, multisig and payment features run in demo/simulation mode. The Provider is not a licensed financial or payment service provider under FINMASA, BankA or PSA.
3. Service description
ScopeCred is a trust and reputation infrastructure for Web3 work. Features include project listings, proposals, skill verification, trust score, escrow workflows and reputation profiles. The platform mediates between clients and contributors but is not itself a party to the brokered service contracts.
4. User obligations
- Provide truthful information when registering.
- No distribution of unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or copyright-infringing content.
- No money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or other illegal use.
- Keep login credentials confidential; report suspected misuse immediately.
- Comply with applicable tax and accounting obligations in your own jurisdiction.
5. Fees
Use of the Free plan is free of charge. For Pro/Business plans and escrow transactions, the prices published in the pricing section apply (currently 2.5% escrow fee, among others). All prices exclude VAT (Provider is not VAT-registered). Stripe processing fees may apply additionally.
6. Liability
The Provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence under Swiss law. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for ordinary negligence, indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or damages arising from third-party smart contract interactions.
7. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time without notice. The Provider may suspend accounts immediately in case of material breach.
8. Governing law / jurisdiction
Exclusively Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Exclusive venue is Bern, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer venue rules require otherwise.
9. Severability
If individual provisions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
